How to Maximize The Use of Hashtags
Hashtags can be a great tool when trying to target your content to a niche audience that aligns with your business. As the years have gone by, the way of using hashtags has evolved, but for the better!
It's easy to throw in a bunch of hashtags in a caption and hope for the best, but this can affect how the algorithm boosts your post. Being intentional with which ones you are putting for each post can be transformative to your post's success. Including too many hashtags can make the post look cluttered and could possibly cause a user to avoid the post together.
There are three things to keep in mind when using hashtags:
Less is more!
Using 30 hashtags may seem like it will be helpful to get your post noticed, but it may be hurting it. Using 5-7 that are more niche to your brand can most times be more successful than using 10-15 broad ones.

Using a hashtag generator
This can help you discover ones you may not have thought to include. Some may also tell you which hashtags perform better based on each platform and what is trending.
Take time to research competitors
See what they are using and analyze what posts did better with specific hashtags. Looking through the Explore page on Instagram is another great way to compare and analyze what works and what doesn't. Some examples of this could be location-based hashtags, event names, or phrases associated with your industry
Overall, the one takeaway from this
should be to be specific about what hashtags you want to be included on your posts Using
the right ones can help expose your posts to the exact audience you want and
can take your content to the next level!
